Asian Jewish Passover: New York City

Join LUNAR's NYC community for DANCING IN-BETWEEN, a joyful celebration of being both Asian and Jewish that is wrapped up in some powerful Passover rituals. On top of enjoying a delicious Asian Jewish fusion meal, this Seder will center the reading of our new 2023 Asian Jewish Haggadah. This event is graciously hosted by Congregation Beth Elohim (CBE).

Who's invited?

This event is open to Asian American Jews, and their +1 guests. We define Asian American Jews as folks who identify as both Asian American and Jewish — this can include mixed-race folks, transracial adoptees, Asian Jews by Choice, and more. We fully welcome those in the process of converting to Judaism.

Pay-what-you-can

In the spirit of keeping this event accessible, we are offering tickets on a pay-what-you-can model. The true cost of attendance is about $45 per person, including printing costs for our 2023 Asian Jewish Haggadah, food, supplies, venue-related costs, and compensation for our Asian Jewish organizers and staff. We invite you to pay what you can, to help us make this event a success!
