About the event

Actors perform true stories of today’s Jewish immigrants about inspiration, resilience and finding home in YEARNING TO BREATHE FREE, a new storytelling theatre show by The Braid (who is also producing an Asian Jews show with LUNAR). Includes a story by LUNAR Los Angeles Community Leader, Chinese-Jewish adoptee Vanessa Bloom, performed by another community member, Kimberly Green (Korean/Puerto Rican Jew-by-Choice). This show takes audiences deeper into the experience of leaving one’s home for a new land and reveals that though we come to America from across the globe, we are one Jewish spirit. Shows will be will in-person across Los Angeles and the Bay Area, plus Live on Zoom. Get 25% off tickets with the discount code LUNAR, or get a "Student" ticket which is available for students and young professionals. Get tickets and learn more at the-braid.org/breathefree
